Before purchasing the Fenix 5X I wore a stainless steel watch with a stainless steel bracelet. So in terms of weight, the Fenix was lighter than my previous watches, and when I added this strap, the Fenix was 4 grams heavier. So from my point of view this is an easy group. However, for those used to a rubber strap, it can feel heavy. My Fenix 5X with this strap cropped to my wrist weighs 135 grams. I'm losing color on some parts of the strap. It doesn't peel. Rather deleted. I put my hands in tight places and rub metal, but I don't take my watch off. With normal use I don't think there will be any problems.
