I bought this 150psi CYCPLUS electric compressor mainly for convenience. I have an air compressor in my garage that I have used to air my cars on demand. But installing a large compressor every time I want to add a few psi to my tires takes a lot of time and effort. So when I saw that there was a small, portable, cordless tire inflator, I had to try it. This compressor comes in a beautiful packaging. The compressor comes with a very short micro USB charging cable, multiple adapters for bike tires, balls and even inflatable pool toys, a fabric storage bag and printed instructions. The compressor housing features a storage compartment that is convenient for storing the tire inflation hose when not in use. It's small enough to easily fit in a standard car glove box. Before trying it, I loaded the supercharger. As it turns out, the charging cable for my Kindle is great for this. Next to the charging port is a small LED that changes color from red to green when the compressor is fully charged. After charging, I used the compressor to inflate all the tires on my car. I was concerned about possible air leaks because the flapper valve on the inflation hose was closed, but it seemed to snap on all my tire valves with no problem. When the compressor is switched on, it immediately shows the current tire pressure. Use the knobs on the compressor to adjust the desired pressure up or down, then press the power button. Then the compressor kicks in and starts to work. It's loud, but not as loud as I imagined, and certainly not as loud as my big compressor. Each of my tires dropped about 1-1/2 to 2-1/2 psi and the compressor would pressurize them in about a minute at a time. The compressor also remembers the last pressure setting, so you don't have to reset your target pressure every time you use it. This product has several disadvantages. The tire inflation hose only has a slight bend at the top and the camera doesn't rotate, so it's a little awkward to see the display when the inflation hose is snapped onto the tire valve. This kit does not include a charging adapter, so the compressor can be charged from a car 12V socket unless you purchase a separate 12V USB adapter. From what I've seen other compressor brands use basically the same pump tube so you have to live with that and adapters for 12v sockets are cheap. So these are minor complaints and shouldn't put you off buying this compressor. I confess when I bought this compressor I was very skeptical about how well it would work. But it actually works very well and is extremely comfortable and easy to use. It actually works so well that I will most likely be buying others to keep in my truck and motorcycle. I have not used valve adapters but I can see that this product would be very handy for on the bike storage or at home to store basketballs, footballs etc other brands I looked at. Remember that this type of compressor is designed simply to add a few pounds per square inch to a tire etc., not to inflate it from the ground up. If you have a completely flat tire, you need a full-size air compressor. But for maintaining optimal tire pressure, this gadget couldn't be better. I try to write informative product reviews.
