CYCPLUS Bike Tire Pump: Portable Electric Inflator with 150 PSI, Auto-stop & LED Light Review

Great concept but nothing really inflates. I've tried using this to inflate small 14" tires to 35psi to no avail. As the tire was inflated, the pressure gauge kept dropping and the actual tire pressure matched. It had blown away. Even when starting below 10psi the pressure slowly drops as you inflate. I couldn't find any leaks around the valve stem, clamp or hose so I'm not sure what's going on. Possibly a bad check valve on the pump itself?

Good pump. It works well to inflate the tires in my motorcycle. The battery does not hold a charge for long even when not in use. I keep it on my bike and it lasts 2 weeks before dying. It's ok I can charge it off the bike but it would be better if it held a charge - hence 3 stars. October 16 update. 1 star change. The block just doesn't hold a charge. I thought this little compressor would save me time when inflating my bike tires with a Presta valve. No way. It was so embarrassing. First the Presta valve adapter is screwed into the already stripped plastic. Then the O-ring in the adapter always falls out. There are serious leaks when I connect it to the tire valve. This CYCPLUS has never filled my road bike tires; In fact, the maximum pressure I reached was only 86psi. I had to hold it in place to keep the seal (and that's with the valve and pump closest to the bottom). It took me sooooo long to even get to 86psi (I ride 120psi) and the tire never finished filling. I purchased this item and thought I received a defective item. So I ordered a replacement. But no! It can't inflate my road bike tires to 105 or 110 psi. Not even close.
