Review on Contemporary Blue and Gray Large Floral 🌸 Pattern Area Rug Runner - 2' x 7'2 by Robin Joseph

I have had this mat for almost a year now. When I first received it I was struck by the softness and plushness of the rug. I also really like the pattern, it looks exactly like the photo and goes well with the blue and gray tones. It hides all stains very well, it's different and modern but not in the typical "geometric" style. I have a table in the middle of the carpet so that part is never walked on and the part of the carpet that is walked on daily has turned out very flat and not plush at all. It's very easy to tell the difference as I don't walk on the middle part and that part is still very soft and plush. Even washing the carpet didn't restore it to its original appearance. I have to rate this rug 3 stars because I am disappointed with how quickly the rug lost its thick, plush feel. I understand that carpets get flat and unsoftened with daily foot traffic, this is normal, but I just figured they would last a couple of years at least. Maybe that's normal with rugs in this price range as I couldn't afford a more expensive rug at the time of purchase. If you don't walk on rugs often and just want a nice rug to brighten up your room, this is a good choice. If you are placing this rug in a room such as a living room where it will be walked on daily, I do not recommend this rug as in less than a year it will no longer feel good on your feet.
