Powerful saw! Arrived a day early and I love the feeling. Start work next week but love it already! This is a heavy saw. So if you are looking for a light weight this may not be for you. UPDATE: The item broke within two months, we thought it wasn't a problem, it's warranty, we filled out an incredibly long registration, but we did it. The problem was we have several projects that require a circular saw so we picked up the Ridgid and have been using it ever since. Now that things have slowed down a bit, we will apply for a guarantee. They tell us what we did online was not a registration, you have to call them to register the saw and we are no longer allowed to do that. They found someone 250 miles away to fix it and charge us, but if it turned out to be a warranty item we would get a refund. Well as they have already told us we are no longer guaranteed, that means we will be on the road more than 5 hours to drop it off and another 5 hours to pick it up hoping they get it right fix it and someone will change their mind and say this is a warranty case. Terrible customer service, we're not from a small town, we're in San Antonio and only an hour from Austin. I open a shop and buy hundreds if not thousands of dollars worth of new tools. The $63 I wasted on this tool is the only money Skil will ever get from us.
