Review on 🧶 Chunky Melody Sea Mist Yarn - Premium Wool-Acrylic Blend - 100g/skein, Medium Weight by Nicole Mcleod

Here's the TL;DR version: This yarn happens to be the same yarn as Yarn Bee Melody Bulky formerly sold at Hobby Lobby, but it is has been discontinued. Three years later I bought two skeins and they were exactly the same color. One strand had no knots; one had two. The yarn stretches well, knits neatly and doesn't break. And now for the story. In April 2017 I was contacted by a woman whose daughter died in 2014 with a project still on pins and needles, a hat, and asked me to finish the hat. I have been assured that there is a pattern. I have agreed 1) I couldn't make out the hat because it was knit flat and there was something on the stitch holders. Baby Sweater 4) Six inches of yarn left over. Ravelri came to the rescue. We found and identified the yarn. I felt it was discontinued but this product, BambooMN Chunky Melody, was very similar to a yarn with other color names but looked exactly the same. I bought it but it turns out the yarn is exactly the same. I finished it and despite the difference of three years and two manufacturers, the yarn is identical. I finished the sweater and now mom has finished her daughter's latest project. (Plus, I had a pair of extra fingerless gloves.)
