Review on Trio Portable Monitors: Touch-Sensitive and IPS Compatible (101-1004P01) by Larkeese Wilson

The magnetic mount is frustrating

I am writing this review because I am considering returning the product. I have a Lenovo P1 Gen 3. It's not fair to compare my laptop's 4K OLED screen to an IPS screen, but I'd say it's decent. The size is also good and it goes so far that other applications are open for viewing from the side. I also like that you can set it up as a portrait and stand alone on a table. My issue with this product is that the magnetic mount just won't cut. I only use one and maybe two will make up for it but it seems really difficult for him to keep the monitor going. The monitor is too heavy, the magnets twist and the slider retracts under its own weight. Maybe the non-professional 11" version doesn't have this problem. I also don't like that there are permanent (unless hot air removed) and unsightly mounts on the metal plate for the magnets to work. I'll go with that deal with bus-style monitor extensions.
