I was looking for cup holders for my work truck that doesn't have cup holders. The first fatal flaw is the silly design of the cup holders. The cup holders are narrower, which makes sense, but the lower reducer ring prevents even cups with reduced bases from moving fully, guaranteeing no spills. The second fatal flaw is the lack of a slot for attaching the device with a seat belt. Yes! I'm going to close the seat belt slots on the sides to fix this. I cut the bottom out of one of the coasters for demonstration purposes. The cutout side below works great. The lower adapter ring can be easily removed by the manufacturer and cut-outs for the seat belts can be made on the side. Then you have a worthy product. Modifying it was easier and less time consuming than sending it back and looking for a replacement.
