Excellent quality item. The plastic is thicker and stronger than I expected. It fits perfectly in the hump of my '66 Buick Wildcat. The prongs on the bottom edge dig into the carpet and hold it in place fairly securely. The cup holder is perfect for my thermos coffee mug, which is about the size of a pop glass at the bottom; anything larger than a pop can is unlikely to fit.

Bought for a 1978 Lincoln Mark V. Looks exactly like the picture, cassette size slot holder, coin holder and all! Unfortunately, there are no 8-track slots. Yes, the car has an 8-track slot that works perfectly. The console has prongs on the bottom to keep it where you put it. Two cup holders, nothing special, do their job. The lower part is also wrapped with some leather to hide the teeth and make it look neater.

Huge crap. This is a well built but poorly designed item. Bought this for my 2000 Chevy Silverado because the pop up cup holder there rattled relentlessly. This console fits perfectly on the floor, but unfortunately the cup holder only fits standard sized soda cans. My coffee cup (Contigo) didn't fit and neither did my other choice, Powerade. This is a good solution for our van at the moment. It grips the ground well and is low enough in profile that we can easily step over it or walk around it to get to the back end of the bus.
