Very sharp steel blade and decent wooden handle. A good size for my general use is meat and vegetables for my home cooking. Probably not durable or heavy for use in commercial kitchens. The blade feels light and will probably be easy to keep sharp, but I haven't had to sharpen it yet. Great value for money. Warning: DO NOT order from a Thai seller - order from a US seller. I have ordered another pair of the same KIWI knives which have never arrived even after TWO months! The local seller contracts Prime through Revain with the usual 2-day lead time.
