Includes the basics but doesn't let me adjust the speaker balance 3.1

It's compatible but I need to get the original so I can adjust 3.1 to get the clearest dialogue which is why I originally had three - canal system. I have a Sony HT-CT100 soundbar system which is perfectly adequate. This is usually better than the sources I have over cable.
