It's gotten so expensive to bring your car in to have it really cleaned and then it's not always good to have it cleaned. So we started washing our cars at home. Our cars are getting old, so the headlights look foggy. We tried using an abrasive to remove some of the mist. Now we didn't use any special cleaner, just car wash soap and a cleaning pad. This removed some of the fog on the headlights. We also applied some wax by hand and then polished it. Basically we made the hood and then finished the rest by hand. My important case is a used grinder that you think is strictly for cars. If you use the one you use for actual sanding, no matter how well you clean it, you're going to keep blowing dirt onto your clean car. Super annoying. They have their uses. They will not be used every time we clean the car, but if we do a large part it will certainly reduce the effort that you have to put in.
