Buying this along with a purchase I made recently. First I was looking for something to protect my TV remote from the wrath of the kids. The remote case arrived today and I used it straight away. Overall I think the build quality is decent and only time will tell how resilient this product will be to the possible torture it will endure. However, I noticed that the silicone feels different than other silicone cases. purchase in the past. It doesn't stretch as smoothly and doesn't fit precisely/snugly on the remote it was designed for. The sides jut out slightly toward the center of the console. I'm not sure if it was because it stretched during installation, although I was careful when inserting the remote, or if it indicates the quality of the silicone used. Anyway, I'll keep an eye on it and if I remember (if I remember) I'll report back if there's any change in its overall performance. All in all I'm glad I bought it for long distance protection, can't wait to see how long this lasts.
