This product is a huge disappointment. PWM control is adopted from 200-1800 rpm. It's not like this. I bought 5 of these fans and they all run at a maximum speed of 800 rpm at 100% PWM duty cycle (tested with an oscilloscope). You can forget about decent PWM control with these fans if you use them on a 4-pin fan connector. No matter how high your BIOS program sets the PWM duty cycle, the fans will not exceed 800 rpm at 100% duty cycle on a 4-pin header. Running at 800rpm instead of 1800rpm they produce less than half of the advertised airflow. This turns what is advertised as a 56cfm fan into a less than 25cfm fan. (What's so good about that?!?) When I plug them into a 3-pin connector, they run at 1800 rpm as advertised. The PWM control of these fans is clearly buggy. they are garbage. I tested the same results on 3 different motherboards from Gigabyte and ASUS. Avoid this product and buy something better. Artic fans are not what they advertise, they are garbage.
