Description of πŸŒ€ ARCTIC P12 PWM PST Value Pack - 120mm Case Fan, 5-Pack, PWM Sharing Technology (PST), Pressure-optimized, Ultra-Quiet Motor, PC, 200-1800 RPM - Black/Black

OPTIMISED FOR STATIC PRESSURE: During the development of the new P12 PWM PST, special emphasis was placed on a focused airstream and thus a high static pressure. 200 TO 1800 RPM Regulated VIA PWM PST: Thanks to 4-pin connector, the RPM can be regulated in a broad spectrum via PWM, noise is kept at minimum while maximum cooling performance is given when needed. MORE EFFICIENT TECHNOLOGY: The motor is powered by a Neodym-Iron-Boron-Magnet ring of the newest generation, which allows the new P12 PWM PST to run much more efficiently than its predecessors. EXTENDED LIFE SPAN: A 10 Β°C lower motor temperature roughly doubles the life span of a fan, the new ARCTIC motor has a four times longer service life through its low coil temperature. TECHNICAL DATA: Fan speed: 200–1800 RPM, Airflow: 56.3 CFM/95.65 m3/h (@ 1800 RPM), Noise Level: 0.3 Sone (@ 1800 RPM), Pin: 4-pin.

are you a little high Try O-rings!

I've read of people having problems with resonance at certain speeds but due to the low cost I thought it might be worth a try. I hooked one up and ran it without a mount - nice and pretty throughout the speed range. So I installed it and turned it on. There was a slight hum at the higher end of the range - quieter than the fan I was replacing (aka 747), but I knew it would bother me. So I removed the screws one by one to see if it was frame distortion, but it wasn't. After I separated the fan…

PWM DOES NOT PROVIDE RPM

This product is a huge disappointment. PWM control is adopted from 200-1800 rpm. It's not like this. I bought 5 of these fans and they all run at a maximum speed of 800 rpm at 100% PWM duty cycle (tested with an oscilloscope). You can forget about decent PWM control with these fans if you use them on a 4-pin fan connector. No matter how high your BIOS program sets the PWM duty cycle, the fans will not exceed 800 rpm at 100% duty cycle on a 4-pin header. Running at 800rpm instead of 1800rpm they

High quality silent fans with excellent performance.

These arctic p12 pwm pst fans are amazing. I use 4 on my TT 480mm 64mm radiator and 3 on a TT 360 64mm radiator to push through my PC cooling system and 11 more on my server case and a few more in my wife's computer cooling system and I have to say they are very are quiet and let more air through than they do with overpriced top brand RGBs. On my system I run them all as one except for the rear exhaust and these fans all operate at an excellent top speed of 1900+ RPM and they are much better at

Incredibly quiet - just what I wanted

I won't pretend these are the best fans but they are definitely the best fans I have. I've personally used and honestly can't imagine any other fans performing better for the price. everything else. It certainly wasn't quiet, but it was quiet enough that I didn't want to spend money to buy something that couldn't potentially be quieter. That is, until one of the motors in one of my fans started to fail, emitting a constant high-pitched chirp that cut through all background noise, although not…

10 out of 10 fans have audio issues in a certain RPM range

I first ordered a set of 5 pieces Arctic P12 PWM PST to update the PWM controlled fans for my two 240mm radiators. .These fans run quietly and have a good speed range. But when I started tweaking the fan curve, I first noticed a howling noise around 1170 RPM. The fans produce a sound just below 400 Hz. At first I thought the problem was daisy-chaining four fans with a PWM header , so I split them into new pairs and adjusted the curve so that it rarely stays in the 1170 rpm area. The fans were…
