At home we always drank travel mugs instead of regular coffee mugs because we love big cups of coffee. These red mugs are the perfect addition to our kitchen as the color matches my red Pioneer Woman utensils. The cups fit under the Keurig with tray, which is still handy. I did notice that I was sweating a bit on the outside while making iced coffee and the pottery felt quite hot from the freshly brewed coffee. Maybe not a problem, the lids don't fit properly. I haven't tested this, but if the mug tips over, I assume the liquid would blow off the lid and spill fairly easily. The hole is not big enough for a stainless steel straw, but a silicone straw can be compressed into an oval shape. You will have fun chatting with the coffee bar! Overall I like the colour, size and shape of these mugs. They were more expensive than I think they should be but look good for our needs. I have never seen anything like this, so happy with my purchase.
