Perfect for heavy items even if you don't live in an earthquake!
These amazingly strong hooks are ideal for large, heavy items. I live in an area with earthquakes but I would use them for heavy applications even if I wouldn't because they are very durable and relatively easy to use (unless you need to be sure your picture wire is well enough low so they don't peek out) and they're affordable. If you're hanging something big and heavy, you can't go wrong!
