Review on πŸ”§ Silver Oil Drain Valve - EZ (EZ-105) | 20mm-1.5 Thread Size by Rick Bishop

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Saves time and chaos.

I have now installed two of these on my 2004 Forester and am very satisfied. I tried one on the oil pan and after many successful oil changes with no leaks put one in the transmission pan while making ATF. Thanks to the plastic on the lever, the valve can also be operated when the cork is hot without burning your fingers. 3/8" ID x 1/2" OD, 100' long (okay, 100' probably won't be needed, but I'll be changing the oil/gearbox in the foreseeable future). If I'm just changing the oil with them (and not the filter) then I don't even need a sump, I just dump it straight into the waste water tank. This saves time as I don't have to double handle the used oil (to the drip tray and then to the waste container) and clean up afterwards (cleaning the drip tray and any oil that didn't make it to the waste container). drip tray). I have recommended it to many people and they are satisfied too.
