I love this drain plug!

I love this thing! Changing the oil on my 2010 Subaru WRX is very easy. No more mess and reduced oil change time to 10 minutes. If you're changing the oil yourself, I recommend getting one of those drain plugs!

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Long time

Best buy among the engine parts

I'm so glad I bought this. As a woman, I hate dealing with questionable mechanics or quick oil change points. They always try to raise the price for me. Now I can easily change the oil myself. I will definitely buy it for all my future cars.

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Minor issues

Better than the Fumoto valve with new improvements.

I bought and used Fumoto but this EZ valve has better workmanship, improved gasket that seals much better, switch grip with plastic to prevent fingers getting caught when draining of hot oil burn, and a removable drain adapter. Perfect fit for my Subaru Impreza. Sorry Fumoto, I sold the EZ dump valve.

Pros
  • Expensive but decent
Cons
  • Requires outlet

Great product but expensive.

This is a great product! Easy to install, easy to use, especially useful on cars and trucks with obstructions such as engine mounts and cross members. A fitting and two plastic brackets can be easily added to drain and locate oil around the crossbars. However, they have to lower the price. $20-30 is too much for a ball valve.

Pros
  • Something above
Cons
  • Modern

Looks good, actually very bad.

Bought for a generator with an oil plug that was difficult to access. Not for a car, although that's what most reviews refer to. Delivered pretty quickly. The valve was broken out of the box. The trigger lever did not fully close and therefore did not close. The oil outlet was a pentagonal hole, the size of which was completely different from the inlet. The inlet I ordered was 22mm and the outlet was 7.5mm. Nowhere on EZ were two different sizes mentioned. Try to find a fitting or hose that…

Pros
  • Quality construction

  • Out of style

Saves time and chaos.

I have now installed two of these on my 2004 Forester and am very satisfied. I tried one on the oil pan and after many successful oil changes with no leaks put one in the transmission pan while making ATF. Thanks to the plastic on the lever, the valve can also be operated when the cork is hot without burning your fingers. 3/8" ID x 1/2" OD, 100' long (okay, 100' probably won't be needed, but I'll be changing the oil/gearbox in the foreseeable future). If I'm just changing the oil with them (and
