Good size...requires reinforced stitching

I took it on two trips this summer. On the first ride, some of the stitching came loose on the water bottle, side pocket. The thread does not stretch. On the second trip, the top seam on the shoulder strap was not strong enough to hold fins, a mask, a snorkel, and a small pouch with a wallet, passport, and phone. The strap came loose from the top of the bag. I like the size and design of the bag; I think the seams should be reinforced there. Are the bags a solid purchase?
