Review on Dorman 917 142 Exhaust Manifold Cylinder by Brian Campbell

Dorman 917-142 addressed the exhaust leak on the rear right hand exhaust manifold. 2009 Tahoe. Of course, I wish Chevy used heavier bolts to attach the exhaust headers to the heads. This Dorman exhaust clamp works on both front left and rear right. I had to remove the right front wheel and inner fender to get to the spot. There is a heat shield which complicates things, but the start and finish took 3 1/2 hours. This is the best way to repair the areas of the exhaust manifold where the mounting bolt heads have come loose. Saves a lot of money. I also used a part number, a Dorman rear clamp from a few years ago and it still works great.
