My first attempt was a complete success!

I've had it for a few days and just tried it. I'm not a big coffee drinker, but I like it when the mood lifts. Because I'm so laid back I spent some time watching "how to" videos before ordering because I wanted to see what I was getting myself into. My first attempt was a complete success. I think the training really paid off. It's not that difficult, but there are some measurements and calculations to consider. brought to a boil and left to sit so that it just boils) into the soil and allow to activate. Then I poured the rest. I put the lid on and squeezed the plunger so that it touched the bottom but not inside them. I waited 4 minutes, then slowly dipped the filter and immediately drained the coffee to prevent overcooking. The design of this press prevents the filter from coming into contact with the ground and squeezing out the ground coffee. From what I've learned, that's important. Taking my coffee one step further, I rinsed the grounds out of the press and frothed warm milk with them. I am very satisfied with the press and my results. As mentioned, I'm a coffee newbie and casual drinker, but the feel of this press feels like it will last if you respect it and use it as intended. Of course, I'm not going to suggest leaving it in the sink for something to fall on or on the floor. It is an inherently sensitive device. Also, I should add that people complain that the smaller size is too small. It's easy to make a smaller batch in a larger press. 34 oz is a good size for me because I can make 24 oz of coffee and it's "just right" for casual drinking. It's big enough that I can use it to the full when I need enough for two people.
