You must mount the seat to a custom frame (the seat can no longer be flipped). So remove the small wire clip that is attached to the bottom of the seat. Once you've removed the seat from the stock frame and built the lowered seat, you will need 4 screws (I used heavy ones) to bolt the seat onto the new frame (I already have the mounting holes for you). Just drill through and you're done. Took me about 20 minutes (from start to finish) and I'm back. I used two longer screws to drill deep into the front two "pillars" (on the seat) and two short/medium sizes in the back/center (again, the mounting holes show you where to drill). I am 6ft 5 inches tall and the difference between day and night is that I am very comfortable now. (I'm glad I found this brand - much cheaper than others on the web, works and is well built).
