I am a college student who uses knitting as a remedy for anxiety. I really hoped this curler would work for me since it was cheap and just what I needed, but it wasn't well made or useful at all. I had ruined at least 2 full skeins of this thing and spent 3 hours (no exaggeration) untangling the yarn that was killing this tool. Every time I go to spool yarn, unless I keep a close eye on the yarn itself, which is tricky with the Swift yarn on the other hand. The gears will sound like they want to move as well when there is resistance from the yarn during winding.
