These are official OEM products and they work perfectly in my truck (2006 5.4 3v). However, a very severe impact through a pothole on a toll road squeezed one of them so hard that the side electrode broke off the spark plug body, causing it to rattle and tick in the cylinder. Luckily it didn't hit the top of the cylinder head or jam the lifter or piston, which would have been a disaster to say the least. This was discovered after placing your finger on the top of the coil packs to feel where the ticking is coming from. I removed the spark plug in question and found that the side electrode was missing. After phoning one of my mechanics (it was a Saturday afternoon) I started the engine with the spark plug removed, which appeared to knock the electrode out of the cylinder through the spark plug hole. I replaced it with a spark plug of the same make and model from a local auto parts store and everything is fine now. I installed them at a Ford dealership during a time change. To be fair, we don't know when or how the burglary started, but the hole in the road was the catalyst. Of course, Ford's mechanics didn't install the defective spark plug on purpose. Before installation, carefully inspect the candles for defects, and everything will be fine. I will update if more problems arise.
