My truck was misfiring badly. I figured for SURE it couldn't be the spark plugs I installed just last summer. After taking the time to look for other possible sources of trouble, I swallowed my pride and checked the spark plugs. I knew #7 had misfired, so I checked it out first and saw carnage. I bought this kit and installed it on November 1st 2020 with a new KS kit. Fast forward to last week (September 23, 2021) and I'm getting misfire #5. These are official OEM products and they work perfectly in my truck (2006 5.4 3v). However, a very severe impact through a pothole on a toll road squeezed one of them so hard that the side electrode broke off the spark plug body, causing it to rattle and tick in the cylinder.
