I liked the following: - Easy to use - Much stronger and does not wobble compared to all plastic models - The inscriptions on the buttons are easy to read (some mark their buttons with the same screen frame color ) - Extra lights are nice, but won't be, but really close to the subject - The remote control is very handy. You can stamp photos without touching or shaking the screen. - It shows depth better than some similar products. Shadows/sometimes distortion at the edge of the image, but not bad - Other similar devices have a much better image, and some have illumination at the bottom, like a traditional microscope for viewing slides. - If you compare 1200x under a higher - end microscope, I think it's quite clear that this product is well under 1200x. - Lens isn't replaceable (most in this price range can't replace the lens either, but some can) Overall, for the price, it's pretty good for what it is. To be honest, I haven't found a device in this price range that has everything I want. If you are planning 1200x, you should look elsewhere and be prepared to pay more.
