Not too impressed. It's all plastic, hollow, fits too loosely in the receiver, and isn't likely to take a hard hit, except as a sort of victim warning device. It supports my 230 pounds but doesn't feel stable or inspire confidence. I'm glad it's made in the USA, but I'd like to buy a sturdy Smitty. It feels well done but beware of the photo. It's definitely not a heavy-duty rubber-on-metal protector like I thought it would be. Update: After having it on my truck for a few months I have to upvote my rating. I screwed this step up and it's holding up surprisingly well. It might not be steel and rubber as expected, but it's strong enough and totally does what I bought it for. I am surprised by its durability and beautiful appearance.
