I am repairing my old motor boat and lastly I am painting the body and painting a pickup truck. These grinding and polishing wheels have proven themselves very well. I've used them before, but I've never had a 40 piece set with such a variety of grits. This type of circle will wear and tear with use. That's why it's good to get a set with so many of them. It helps that they are color coded but the listing didn't come with the product so I transferred it to a plastic bag from this site. You will receive 10 of each variety: brown - coarse - 80 grit; then green, 150; red = 240; and black = 300. Recently, to patch up small holes and cracks in the cartridge before touching up the paint, I used red paint to shape the plastic putty knife and then black to smooth it out completely. Be sure to thoroughly clean the area of dust and debris before proceeding with painting. Worked great.
