I have bought this before for MY Explorer but was so pleased I immediately bought it AGAIN for my father in law Ranger. Not only are the letters backlit in the correct GREEN color, but the font has a newer square design as opposed to the older smaller font. Feel free to buy if you are looking - the rubber is smooth and high quality, it mounts easily and fits perfectly. It even has a little plastic pin that keeps the grounding tab from rotating when tightened. It outperforms OEM in every way. It even comes with a LIFETIME guarantee. FORD does not offer this either. Installation literally requires only an 8mm socket to loosen the NEGATIVE battery post AND the soundbag/airbag screws, a Torx T50 bit (star shaped) to remove the soundspring clips (they block wear). outside) and a Philips head driver to remove the old keys.
