My heated massage recliner was fine, except that the bonded leather exterior was literally disintegrating after three or four years (live and learn--I'll never buy any kind of faux leather product again). Wasted hours shopping for a new chair online, then saw some ads for slipcovers. Saved hundreds of $ and it turned out better than expected.Installation: The instructions for installing the elastic loops weren't exactly clear. First hint--there are four of them, not just two--the "seat" ones are kind of hidden when you pull the item out of the box. Then after I figured out the "seat" loops are separate from the "footrest" loops, I realized that my chair doesn't have appropriate "bottom hardware" to easily hook them on. But I figured out a way to make them stay in place.Slipcover has a hole for the lever that releases my footrest, and of course it doesn't easily line up. But it doesn't matter because you can easily pull the lever right through the fabric.Only other criticism is that the black fabric just collects white lint and dust, but that is to be expected and is easily corrected with a handheld vacuum.Overall, I am extremely satisfied with the final outcome. Looks great, imo. Saved me a lot of time and trouble of taking the chair apart to throw it away, and then carrying a new chair up two flights of stairs and putting it together, and also of course saved me $$$.
