This was my first limited edition Pentax lens, which I bought after shooting with the Pentax K-1 for three years. When I saw that Pentax were releasing updated coatings for the original limited edition FA lenses, I decided to buy a 77mm lens for portraits. I've attached some pictures from filming downtown over the past few weeks. So far I've liked this lens for portrait and street photography. The build quality of the lens is fantastic. The all-metal construction gives this lens a retro and premium look. The bokeh is nice and round. The only thing I had was that the autofocus motor was a bit louder than my DFA 28-105 lens, but not as loud as the DA 50mm f1.8 I used to use for portraits. Overall, autofocus was fast and accurate, and I never experienced any stuttering. The manual focus ring is perfectly cushioned, giving the lens a premium look. I look forward to the next 31mm and 43mm focal length limited lenses. I would recommend this lens to anyone who wants to shoot portraits with a full frame Pentax system. A truly modernized piece of Pentax history.
