Review on Intex Mariner Inflatable Boat Set Collection by Sean Maile

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Works great for fishing and keeps up with my uncle and me.

I've had a boat for a long time and we probably spent 60+ hours on the water and even drifted through the rapids on the Colorado River. I rode over branches, rocks and other things with no problems. Great for fishing and keeping up with my uncle and his canoe. Apart from that, there are some things that should be with it. 1) Get out the motor mount, trolling motor (I have 30 pounds of thrust, works fine) and boat battery. 2) Get a portable electric pump, you still need the included pump to hit each chamber a few times to get the right psi pressure. 3) If you go fishing I would suggest anchoring as it is difficult to stay alone in one place for more than 4-5 casts. Also take a pump with you. Each chamber has a 2-way valve and a 1-way valve. My boat was in the water for 4-5 hours and on shore all night. It doesn't flatten out, but loses some air after a while, especially if you're carrying more weight or leaning on the cameras at all. I've used several milk crates and a boat seat to sit on and it no longer vents. When the water in the chamber softens, it is very easy to unscrew the one-way valve and press it with a pair of pumps. The only downside is that this is not a rowboat at all. The rudder system sucks and for continuous use the motor is a must! In addition, this is a two-person boat if you need comfort. Three is compression. I am 6ft 2" 350" and my buddy is 6ft 4" 230". We fit in comfortably, both feet pointing inward. Highly recommended
