Review on 🛠️ Bates Sanding Discs 5 Inch 8 Hole, 30 Pack - Assorted Grits 40 80 120 220 320 600: Sanding Pads for Efficient Surface Finishing by Flee Pannell

The quality of these sanding discs is really poor. The sandpaper itself is fine, although not the best I've used. This is a sandpaper construction with felt material that holds the sandpaper to the sander. Most pads just don't stick to the sander's backing pad for very long. Some of them melted the glue. It's happened to everyone. Single. pillow. I have about 15 pads of excellent sandpaper but they can no longer be used for sanding as they will not stick to the pad. The longest I had was a few minutes. Others melted or just couldn't hold on for more than a few seconds. I would recommend sticking with a well known brand although I have used other brands in the past.
