I've had this air fryer for a few months now and overall I really like it. It cooks really quickly and the flavor is really good. I've cooked a lot of chicken, burgers, fries and veggies and they always turn out great. Cleaning is usually quick and easy. Only issue I've run into is at times grease from the meat will get into the rubber that covers the feet of the crisper plate, so you have to take the rubber off and clean in them. Only happened a couple times but can be a pain. I didn't have issues with smell or taste when first using it like others have complained about. I did put water and vinegar in and ran a couple times for about 10 minutes at a time, so that might have helped.The biggest complaint I do have is when trying to fry a sandwich or something else lightweight. For the sandwiches, they recommend sticking a toothpick in to keep the top slice from flying around. I've used 4 toothpicks set in at angles and have never had success keeping the top slice on. The weirdest part is they send a book with recipes in it, and one of the recipes is for Smores. I followed the recipe perfectly and as soon as I started cooking, I heard everything flying around in the basket. I pulled out the basket and everything was apart and there was chocolate residue all the way at the top of the basket from flying around. And I had it in for no more than 10 seconds. So, this was a recipe that they included and it stood no chance. I hadn't seen many complaints about this before I bought it, so I don't know if my experience is unique? I can't imagine it is but at the same time, I can't imagine them including a recipe that gets blown apart instantly, so I don't know. That's really the biggest complaint I have is lightweight foods blowing around. I love the way everything else cooks, and the ease of cleaning for the most part.
