Works right out of the box

I received an old Samsung BD-E5400 BluRay without a remote control. This remote worked right out of the box, no programming required. I only use the remote control to play a rented BluRay disc from Redbox. While the Samsung BD-E5400 is Wi-Fi capable and streaming capable, I don't know and can't confirm the remote capabilities with built-in apps.
