Proved to a friend that the remote control was broken, not the DVD player or my movie. 🤣 It came quickly, at a good price, it works! Hooray!

I bought this as a replacement and it just worked. No fuss, no fuss, and MUCH better than an OEM replacement. A good thing.

Checked the model number on the back of the BlueRay, matched this remote's description and placed the order. Works right out of the box and at a great price!

Inherited a Samsung BD-E5400, bought it at a flea market for a few dollars. Cheap because it didn't have a remote control and really couldn't be used. Got this change remote ($6.99) and bingo has a great Blu-ray player. Sweet.

This remote control works perfectly with our Samsung Blue Ray Player. It was very easy to connect to the device and it works flawlessly. In fact, right after we got used to the new remote, we finally found our original remote! Now we have a backup.

I received an old Samsung BD-E5400 BluRay without a remote control. This remote worked right out of the box, no programming required. I only use the remote control to play a rented BluRay disc from Redbox. While the Samsung BD-E5400 is Wi-Fi capable and streaming capable, I don't know and can't confirm the remote capabilities with built-in apps.

What I liked most was that the remote worked after I modified it a bit. What I didn't like most about him was that I had to change him a bit. I was going to return the item but instead used aluminum foil to make better contact with the (+) side of the batteries and a spring that didn't fit far enough to make contact with the battery. Once I did that, the remote worked great. That's why I gave 3 stars instead of 5.
