Can't get rid of smell/taste

I bought these because they said they use high quality plastic. However, it's more like regular bottles and I've been using them for 3 weeks now. I have washed them many times but I still have a strange taste and smell when I fill them with water. It's the smell of synthetic plastic. Not sure if I have a bad batch but will look elsewhere.
