The unit did NOT help diagnose the problem
A 2011 Mercedes E-350 with 75,000 miles had an engine light on. The device provided that there was no code. However, when clearing a non-existent code, the engine light went out. The device did not provide HELP to diagnose the problem. After 75 km the engine light came on again.
