Review on Genie QuietLift Connect: WiFi Smart Garage Door Opener with Wireless Keypad, Voice Control Compatible (Alexa & Google Assistant), Model 3053-TKV by Born Waheed

Our previous garage door opener was a 1995 Sears/Craftman and slowly but surely broke. I wanted a new garage door opener that is Wi-Fi and also has Alexa capabilities, so I went with this one. It's only been installed for 3 days but so far I'm very impressed. Installation took my husband and I about 3 hours from unboxing and disassembling the old one to just opening/closing it. It would probably take my husband about an extra hour to thread the wires and clean up the installation, but it was getting late so we just did a quick setup. Wi-Fi setup may have taken 10-15 minutes between Alexa and APP downloads, and we programmed both of our cars with the settings for their stock visors. It has worked flawlessly so far and now we have more than enough remotes and controls to open/close the garage from anywhere in the house and beyond. I also like that the app lets you know if the garage door is open or closed. Earlier in the past we forgot to close it on many occasions. Let's hope it lasts as long as the previous opening!
