Review on 🐦 Celestron Hummingbird ED Micro Spotting Scope 9-27x56mm - Birder-Friendly Design with Close Focus Distance by Ryan Arthur

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Large handheld spotting scope

This is one of the smallest spotting scopes. ED glass offers excellent optical quality - bright, sharp and with very good color accuracy. It's better than my Nikon 10x30 Monarch 7 binoculars. I also like the smooth, easy-to-use focus ring. The only potential issue for some users is the tilt of the eyepiece - great for birding, but very unnatural for finding and tracking moving targets. I hope that Celestron will introduce a straight eyepiece version soon. I would buy one even though I already have a corner model. An alternative would be the following Minox mini spotting scope with a straight eyepiece: Minox 16-30X50mm spotting scope.
