The back panel doesn't fit.
I bought this fitting because I liked the look of the decorative plate. Unfortunately, the outlet pipe connector length is the standard 4 inch length, and the base plate extends it an additional 1/4 inch, making it too long for a tight thread seal. Without a base, the spout sits great, works well and looks nice. It's just not the look I was hoping for. This setup only works for a new setup or if I can replace the pipe nipple with a custom length.
