Review on ๐Ÿพ Black ISM Touring Bike Saddle by Antonio Bly

Revainrating 4 out of 5

The seller sent me the wrong saddle but the genuine ISM Touring is a great saddle!

I have the ISM Touring and ISM Sport models. The Sport is fairly stiff (many would say it's just stiff, even compared to many regular saddles) and fairly narrow considering it needs to support your sit bones. The Touring, on the other hand, is better padded (though quite firm) and wider. I'm pretty sporty and have done over 10,000 miles in the last ten years and even I prefer the Touring. I keep my sport on a bike I don't ride as much. Which brings me to the problem: When I ordered this item through Revain I thought I'd get a Touring because it says so, but they sent a Sport. One of the VERY few times I've returned something I bought from Revain. Very disappointing because the sport they sent is VERY different than the touring it claims to be. And again, I would know because I have both. If it wasn't for that, I would have given 5 stars. The true touring model is a great saddle. I know it's not for everyone, but I've come to the conclusion that lugged saddles - even with "cut" grooves - still make contact with the crotch and put at least a little pressure on it, and that's a bad one thing (for both men and women). This is a fundamental design flaw of traditional bike saddles and the only solution to getting rid of the nose. I have tried several noseless saddles and for me the ISMs are the best, especially the Touring. the same model that received rave reviews (and nearly eliminated ED) in a study of male cyclists. Have you long suspected that frequent cycling can contribute to at least a slight drop in performance in the bedroom? That's how it is. NOW! Is it difficult to control the bike? I do not think so? I run my hips like most serious racers do and I haven't found a problem. You have more than enough weight on your butt to control your legs. a bicycle, with or without a nose. Even if I "ride lightly" over bumpy terrain, I haven't had any problems yet. Yes, I'm a mountain biker, not just a tarmac racer. Losing my nose has cost me absolutely NOTHING in terms of bike mastery. For me, the absolute only downside to a noseless saddle is the weird looks and questions you get. Well, very bad. Making your wife happy is more important than all the conformists in this world.
