I bought this because I saw it in person and was really impressed by the large quantity. So I've been renovating the house for a few months. There are endless bets on roulette. I found two key features of this particular device. There is no edge you can grab on the edge of what you want to measure. It keeps slipping off all at once and becomes very uncomfortable. I've found that I've used much cheaper tape more often. 2. If you fix the tape measure and let it sit on its own, it will lift and detach from your material on a short measurement you are trying to measure. In principle, the underside of the device is not parallel to the tape exit angle. This is very annoying. I tried using it by marking points on the tile to cut but since it kept wanting to come back up I went and got another piece of tape. I really can't say I would recommend it to anyone trying to use it for its intended purpose.
