A bit pricey but a must have

We live in a camper van all the time and need to make sure the water is properly filtered. We connect this filter to the campsite water source and connect the Hydro Life 52412 C-2063 replacement cartridge filter to the wet room https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B002UC19T2/ref=ppx_od_dt_b_asin_title_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 . I love their claim that this filter lasts an average of 6 months, but it's a bit oversized and comes with a flexible protective hose with every order. Camco sells a pack of two smaller filters that are valid for three months. They cost a little less than this larger one and don't have a flexible hose guard, which we don't need. Pack for six months.
