This set has so many design mistakes. L-Bolts are over 9 inches long, not 8 inches as stated in the product description. Make sure they fit under the hood as they are too tall to cover the hood of the car. The main downside to this is the L-shaped knee, which has to fit into the metal loop at the base of the battery and holds the battery in place when attached to the top bracket and tightened. Being L-shaped rather than J-shaped, the bolts slip around the bottom bracket and slip off when you try to tighten the top bolts. The photo shows that there are 2 washers in the kit, but they are not. The set should have 2 lock washers to keep the wing nuts from loosening due to vibration and shock from the car while driving. Two wing nuts are a great idea for light tightening during regular maintenance, but you can't tighten them on both sides because the wing nut on one side of the bracket will hit the top of the bracket and won't be fully tightened. Learn from my misstep and buy a J-Bolt battery mounting kit.
