I have a small 5 gallon snail tank so a 50 watt heater is perfect! It's actually quite easy to follow the instructions sent, and it heats up pretty quickly. I think it only took my tank 20-30 minutes to go from 73 to 78F. My snails are more active now that I'm at the right temperature! At first I had some issues with what I thought was the heater. It turned out to be my digital thermometer reading over 10 degrees! This heater tells you the actual water temperature and it was accurate! This is a lot better because I can control what temperature the heater should be at instead of the default temperature from my old heater. For customer service only, I will recommend this heater and company to all my aquatic pet friends!
