Works great and customer service is great!

I have a small 5 gallon snail tank so a 50 watt heater is perfect! It's actually quite easy to follow the instructions sent, and it heats up pretty quickly. I think it only took my tank 20-30 minutes to go from 73 to 78F. My snails are more active now that I'm at the right temperature! At first I had some issues with what I thought was the heater. I was hesitant to buy this heater at first as I read several reviews that some other fish owners had suffered some fish loss after installing this heater. My condolences to her, I would be angry too. I think I got lucky as this product worked as advertised. Amazing heaters - with a BIG caveat

Love love love this heater for my 5 gallon Betta aquariums. I set it to 82* and my tanks are consistently at 80* day and night. I like my room to be freezing with the help of a fan, so I factor that into the temperature variance. I use a small sponge filter/air stone with minimal flow. I read about this in another review and would like to draw your attention to it. Ideal for nano aquariums or hospital/quarantine tanks!

Update: WARNING! The heater is still working great after a few months but (as later reviewers have pointed out the design of the heater is very imperfect and I caught my fish trying to get into the heater through the side holes. Decent for the price

For the price I would say this heater isn't that bad. Check out the pros and cons below. minuses. It maintains a constant temperature for the most part, but from what I've found using both tanks, one for every two ten-gallon tanks, it's not very accurate. One of the heaters shows about 3 degrees above actual water temp and the other about 3.5 degrees above actual water temp. BIG heater! My fish are now ACTIVE and the tank is crystal clear and clean!

Amazing heating! A must have item for any cold tank. I've had this heater in my aquarium for over 24 hours 48 hours and look how crystal clear it is.
