Decent for the price

For the price I would say this heater isn't that bad. Check out the pros and cons below. minuses. It maintains a constant temperature for the most part, but from what I've found using both tanks, one for every two ten-gallon tanks, it's not very accurate. One of the heaters shows about 3 degrees above actual water temp and the other about 3.5 degrees above actual water temp. While the temperature is easy to set (by simply pressing a button on the cord), it could be a bit more accurate. Most heaters show an accuracy within 1.5 degrees. - This also applies to the temperature, although it is easy to adjust, it would be nice if the controller was on a separate cable and not directly opposite the plug. - The last negative I have is that the suction cups seem to be pretty cheap (to be expected for the price, but again this is a review). They barely stuck to the tank wall, and when they did, they would pop out of the back and come loose every time I tried to move the heater. Advantages - price. For the price it's hard to find a temperature controlled heater. Most in this price range have a default cutoff of around 78 degrees. While this method hasn't proven to be the most accurate in my experience, it's simple enough to use for a few days before you put the fish in and get a picture of the actual temperature so you know what's going on. . While not the most accurate reading, it keeps my tanks at the same temperature. The size. Be that as it may, it is very small and flat, making it easy to place in small aquariums without taking up too much space. It's also nice that the temperature gauge, while a little fuzzy, is clearly visible. Overall I would say this heater is good for anyone on a budget who needs a decent heater. While the downsides I've listed are certainly worth noting, they're easily bypassed if you're just looking for a decent budget heater. I will continue to use mine!
