I had hopes but poor design dashed them.
Bought for an elderly mother. It worked fine for a while, but now the buttons become unresponsive and have to be pressed firmly or repeatedly. Now it's time to change the batteries. Wow what a bad design. The secret is to tug on the small (not relatively large hole next to it) lanyard hole to pull on the hidden plunger that reveals the battery cover. I had to take it apart to figure out how to open it. To their credit, the battery cover didn't break when I unplugged it.
